Prof. R. Mantke works as clinic director and as chair for general and visceral surgery at the MHB since 2015. His scientific interest is outcome research and the quality in surgery based on routine data and registry data. Several translational scientific projects are based on the Brandenburg Tissue and Database for Colorectal Carcinoma.
Dipl. psych. Richard Hunger
Richard Hunger is a psychologist and has many years of experience in medical statistics. He has been analyzing outcome parameters of surgical interventions for several years and has experience in meta-analyzes and systematic reviews as well as in the evaluation of registry data. He joined our team in 2018.
Ulrike Weber
Ulrike Weber is a statistician and data technology engineer. She has been part of our team since 2023. She analyzes cancer registry data and routine data from a gender perspective.
Karina Börner, MTA
Karina Börner has many years of experience as a medical-technical assistant in biomedical laboratories. She joined our team in 2020. She works with in our biobank projects and is responsible for the digital archiving of pathological slides.
Dipl.-Biol. Chrissanti Helmke
Chrissanti Helmke is a biologist and has many years of experience in structuring, analyzing and working in the Colon Cancer Center Brandenburg a part of the University Hospital Brandenburg. She coordinates the clinical studies that are carried out through the Colon Cancer Center.

Prof. M. Sahm is a general and gastrointestinal surgeon. He works as a senior physician in a large hospital in Berlin (DRK Kliniken Berlin Köpenick) . He has been a member of our team since 2016. He has many years of experience in analyzing registry data and analyzing quality in surgery.

PD Dr. Paasch is a general surgeon. He works as a senior physician in the University Hospital Brandenburg/Havel and
as a guest scientist at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg. As a member of the german and european hernia society he is mainly researching on the field of hernia surgery.

Niklas Krollmann is a training assistant in surgery at the University Hospital Brandenburg and analyzes the safety of a single-incision cholecystectomy and the clinical deviations from a classic 4-trocar cholecystectomy. He joined our team in 2020.
